This Privacy Policy explains how NordStack collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit nord-stack.com. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Swedish data protection law.
Last updated: 1 November 2026. Effective date: 1 November 2026.
1. Who is responsible for your data
NordStack is the data controller for personal data processed through this website (https://nord-stack.com). You can reach us through our contact page or by phone on 010 337 05 96 (24/7 support).
Purchases, checkout, payments, customer accounts and product delivery take place in our reseller storefront at https://shop.nord-stack.com, which is operated by our technology partner. Personal data you provide in the storefront is processed under the storefront's own privacy policy and legal agreements, which are shown there.
2. What personal data we collect
Contact form
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, subject and the content of your message. We also receive technical data needed to deliver the form, such as your IP address and the time it was sent.
Cookies and technical data
When you visit the website, our hosting and security providers automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested and timestamps. This is needed to deliver the website securely. We use strictly necessary cookies, including a cookie that remembers your cookie preferences.
Communications
If you call or write to us, we process the information you share so that we can help you.
3. Why we process your data and our legal bases
- Answering enquiries and providing support: based on our legitimate interest in responding to you, or on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
- Running, securing and protecting the website: including preventing spam, abuse and attacks, based on our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Remembering your cookie choices: based on our legal obligations and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(c) and 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics or marketing cookies, if introduced: only based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Complying with legal obligations: such as accounting or responding to lawful requests from authorities (Article 6(1)(c)).
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf under data processing agreements, or where required by law:
- Hosting and storefront partner: hosts this website on a managed WordPress platform and operates the reseller storefront at shop.nord-stack.com.
- Cloudflare: provides content delivery, performance and security services for the website.
- Email and communication providers: used to deliver messages sent through the contact form.
We may also disclose data to authorities, courts or advisers where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers, such as our hosting partner and Cloudflare, may process personal data outside the European Union and European Economic Area, including in the United States. When that happens, we make sure the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision by the European Commission (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified) or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), together with additional safeguards where needed.
6. How long we keep your data
- Contact form messages and correspondence: kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and then normally deleted within 24 months, unless we need to keep them longer for an ongoing customer relationship or legal claim.
- Technical and security logs: kept for a short period, normally no longer than needed for security and troubleshooting.
- Cookie preferences: stored in your browser for the lifetime of the cookie, as described in the cookie banner.
- Accounting records: kept for the period required by Swedish accounting law.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased in certain circumstances;
- restrict processing in certain circumstances;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive your data in a portable format where processing is based on consent or contract;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To use your rights, contact us through our contact page. We will respond within one month. For data held in the storefront, you can also use the tools and contact options provided there.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at www.imy.se, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.
8. Cookies
This website uses strictly necessary cookies that are needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie settings. These cookies do not require consent. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, they will only be set after you give your consent through the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the website may then not work as intended.
The storefront at shop.nord-stack.com uses its own cookies, which are described in the storefront's own policies.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted HTTPS connections, managed hosting, security services and limited access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
10. Children
Our website and services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on the website.
12. Contact us
